In the heart of the mountains of Madrid, in the Fuenfría Valley, located in the Recreational Area of Las Berceas, in the Dehesas de Cercedilla, you will find one of the largest adventure parks in Europe and the largest in Spain.
There you will find 114 games in the trees and 33 zip lines, divided into 7 adventure circuits: Kids, Explorer, Jungle, Adventure, Canopy, Sport and X-Trem; 5 Initiation circuits and the spectacular Monkey Jump, a 12-metre high jump into the void. There is also an area just for companies with Team Building dynamics (Amazonia Team Factory), unique in Spain. A day of adventure in which you can do the circuits as many times as you want, in a maximum of three hours. Children from 6 years old.
This is the second largest adventure park in Madrid and one of the 5 largest in Spain. It is located in Pelayos de la Presa (Sierra Oeste), next to the San Juan reservoir.
There you will find 99 games in the trees and 25 zip lines, for adults and children, divided into 6 adventure circuits: MiniKids, Kids, Explorer, Jungle, Adventure and Sport. There are also 3 initiation circuits, as well as a 255m SUPER-TYROLEOLINE, the longest in Spain between trees.
A great novelty is the MiniKids circuit for children from 4 to 6 years old. It is an enclosed area with games in the trees and zip lines for the little ones, and works as a nursery, so that adults can enjoy the adventure while the little ones enjoy the adventure at their own pace.

Atlantis Aquarium Madrid is an aquarium with more than 2,300,000 litres of water and 10,000 marine animals from all over the planet, distributed in 20 ecosystems or real tanks.
It is a new concept in educational and participatory leisure. It is open every day of the year and is located within the large family leisure centre, C.C. intu Xanadú.
Its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable development and learning about aquatic ecosystems and thus promote their conservation and that of the entire planet.
To meet its educational and awareness-raising objectives, Atlantis has a space of more than 6,000 square metres (including the technical area) to reproduce various habitats and keep the animals in unbeatable conditions.
Are you going to miss it?
Faunia is a zoo with more than 1,200 animals of 152 different species. You can find them along a 14-hectare route surrounded by vegetation and distributed in open spaces and pavilions that represent different ecosystems.
The concept of proximity and recreation of habitats create ideal conditions for the animals and make this Madrid park a different concept, ideal for young people, families and children from 3 to 13 years old.
Just 5 minutes from the centre of Madrid, visitors to Faunia have the opportunity to interact with unique species in Spain through activities led by their keepers with West Indian manatees or learn about animals such as sea bears or even get to know reptiles up close through the crocodile feeding activity.
Experiencing an Amazon rain, without even getting wet, in the jungle of Faunia or stopping to observe the lemurs in the African Forest are some of the nearby experiences in this park located in the Madrid neighbourhood of Valdebernardo, at exit 6 of the A3.
Nature and Animals
Now the whole family can live a unique and wild experience at Safari Madrid! Few kilometers from Madrid, in the town of Aldea Fresno, you will find this authentic safari that allows you to unravel the magic of the animal kingdom.
The enclosure is divided into sections and is home to a wide variety of animal species. Watch the flight of impressive birds, visit the reptile area to learn all about these animals; mammals, carnivores and herbivores, from different habitats, are waiting for you, roaming around this enclosure- have your camera ready!

Located in the lungs of the city, the Madrid Zoo was inaugurated on 23 June 1972 in the surroundings of the Casa de Campo. It currently has around 1,300 specimens of 333 species in a 22-hectare area distributed by continents with specimens of great value. Examples are the Costa gorilla, the white and Indian rhinoceros, the Bornean orangutan, the giant panda, the Iberian lynx, the giant otters of the Amazon and the imperial eagle.
The educational activities of dolphins, sea lions, birds of prey and exotic birds are part of a tour in which the twin panda bears You You and Jiu Jiu, Land of gorillas or the Bornean orangutan family, as well as the group of Asian elephants or unique species such as koalas, takins or tapirs are a must. Also visit the aquarium, where you can see sharks of various species, sea turtles or its coral farm, a pioneer in Spain since 1995.
Workshops for the whole family, children's camps at Easter, summer and Christmas or monographic courses for students throughout the school year are other attractions of this zoological institution that is part of the history of the city of Madrid. Come to the Zoo!

The National Museum of Natural Sciences, located in Madrid, is one of the most important natural science research institutes in Spain. Its fields range from climate change and biodiversity to palaeobiology.
The Chamberí district is home to one of the oldest natural history museums in Europe and the most important in Spain. Since its foundation in 1771 by King Charles III with the acquisition of the collection of the enlightened Pedro Franco Dávila, and the creation in 1776 of the Royal Cabinet of Natural History, which allowed the institution to increase its holdings, it has held scientific and didactic collections that have supported research and the dissemination of natural sciences.
