Tourism in Madrid
An active but calm sport, within the reach of both experienced riders and beginners. Enjoy nature and the landscape. Relaxation and unique sensations that vary from one time of the year to another, from one day to another, almost from one hour to another...
Within this unique natural environment in the region of Madrid, one of the jewels in the crown is undoubtedly the Sierra de Guadarrama. At its heart, barely 40 km from the big city, is the estate of La Dehesa del Guerrero, in the municipality of Becerril de la Sierra.
From there the equestrian routes start, always with a reduced number of participants (maximum six) to offer a practically personalised enjoyment, always accompanied by a monitor, with docile horses that also allow children to join in? Come to the mountains!
Adventure and Nature

Chinchón, declared one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, has the medieval charm of the 15th and 16th centuries.
Imagine touring its streets, protected by Heritage, in a pleasant thirty-minute ride on a tourist train, while you discover the most special corners and their history through an explanation during the journey.

You will discover the secrets of the 5th generation of winemakers who continue to make wine in earthenware jars, as well as a commented wine tasting and a tasting of typical products from Chinchón.
This is not a visit to a winery, it is a journey that will take you from the vineyards of San Martín de Valdeiglesias to the best coves of the Pantano de San Juan.
The experience begins in the vineyards surrounding our winery, located in the middle of nature on the top of a hill, explaining the particular characteristics of our land and the viticulture work that is carried out throughout the year.
Afterwards, you will enter the winery where you will visit our winemaking and ageing rooms. In each of them we will tell you about the main steps in the winemaking process. We continue the visit in ValleYglesias Restaurant with our Tasting Menu. And, after lunch, we will go to the San Juan Reservoir. It is essential to come with a swimming suit: you will need it.
A boat trip that will surprise you with the beauty of each of the corners that make up the reservoir. We can take a refreshing swim and regain strength to finish the day watching the sunset from the water with a drink in your hand.
Located in the centre of Madrid in a building with more than 100 years of history, for the last 25 years it has been filled with opera, gastronomy, art, familiarity and hospitality. Drinking, eating, laughing, meeting friends and listening to live opera is possible on the same stage. It's fun with good taste.
Going back in history, the name La Favorita comes from an opera by Donizetti to which the Navarrese tenor Julián Gayarre was particularly fond of. Julián Gayarre (1844-1890) died in Madrid at the age of 45. He was at the zenith of his career, having triumphed from St. Petersburg to Buenos Aires, via London's Covent Garden, the Paris Opera, La Scala in Milan and, of course, the Teatro Real in Madrid.
His style of singing remains a benchmark to this day, in addition to his supernatural voice and the example of his work and perseverance, which took him from shepherding sheep in the Navarrese Pyrenees to the highest heights of musical art. His honesty and generosity are also, without a doubt, a good example for our times.
What stands out most about La Favorita is the atmosphere that every night and day is created. It has a fantastic outdoor space with a garden and several reserved spaces. It guarantees a special celebration with a good dose of Navarrese gastronomy and live opera entertainment.
Enjoy a different kind of train journey without leaving Madrid with an unforgettable meal in one of our train carriages.
Our restaurant evokes a small station, equipped with two old restored train carriages, and we also have a charming terrace on one of the platforms.
Get on the train and let's go!
