‘Visit Madrid', the new official tourism app of the Community of Madrid, offers you the interactive experience 'Tour de Las Ventas', a virtual tour of this emblematic Madrid place.

This initiative uses the most advanced technology by integrating Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, to make your tourist visit unique through interactive experiences for which you will only need a mobile phone and/or virtual reality glasses.

'Tour de Las Ventas' incorporates holograms through augmented reality of one of the key figures of bullfighting in our country: the famous Sevillian bullfighter Joselito 'El Gallo', who will accompany you along with the guides on your tour of Las Ventas, to tell you key facts, anecdotes and unknown peculiarities of the largest bullring in Spain. 

To do this, simply download the 'Visit Madrid' APP, look for the 'Interactive Experiences' section, select the interactive experience you want to enjoy, in this case the 'Las Ventas Tour' and click on the button "Visit with AR". 

In addition, before clicking on "Visit with AR", which can only be done when the user is in the bullring in Madrid, the user will find an information button on the top right hand side of the screen, where Joselito 'El Gallo' will introduce and inform them about the tour.

In "Visit with AR" all the points of the Tour where Holograms appear are shown, which will be activated automatically when pointing the mobile phone at the images arranged by the tour, as if taking a photograph. Visitors will find the same images both in the app and on the signs along the tour route, so that it will be easy to identify them.

In the 'Tour de las Ventas', the places that are indicated on the app screen and where these markers to access the Holograms are located are the Puerta Grande, the tendidos, the bullpens, the chapel and the Bullfighting Museum, the main points of the visit to the bullring. The tour guides will also be on hand to help visitors get the most out of this immersive experience.

Through Virtual Reality technology, the Community of Madrid has created its first Metaverse, in which, in addition to visits with interactive holograms of historical figures, such as Felipe II, Cervantes or Carlos III, there are 360º virtual flights, which will allow the user to see some of the main monuments of the capital from the air, such as the Monastery of El Escorial, the University of Alcalá de Henares, the Palace of Aranjuez, as well as the rich nature of the Sierra Madrileña.

With virtual reality glasses you will have fun with the immersive flights of our Metaverse - 360º virtual flights - and you will be able to tour the mountains of Madrid, paraglide and fly over World Heritage Sites.
