EXPERTS IN TOURISM IN THE REGION OF MADRID

ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR TOURISM PROFESSIONALS

The Dirección General de Turismo (General Directorate of Tourism) of the Community of Madrid offers travel agents and tourism professionals worldwide the online "Experts in Tourism in the Region of Madrid " training program. Its aim is to offer individualized training on the tourist resources of the Region of Madrid, by providing them with all the information needed to design and organize trips for their customers, so that they can promote our region in their communities, attracting this way tourists to our Region.

What are the minimum equipment requirements for taking an online course?

The course has been designed using HTML5 and the e-learning platform Moodle. As for minimum requirements, you will only need to have a computer or tablet with Internet access and a browser that supports HTML5, such as the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari. The course is available in two languages: Spanish and English.

How do I register for the course?

To take the online course "Experts in Tourism in the Region of Madrid”, it is necessary to register in the system. This will allow you to access any time and save your progress. Do I get a certificate?

Once you complete the course, after passing all of the evaluation questionnaires, you will receive a certificate of "Experts in Tourism in the Region of Madrid” acknowledging your expertise on tourism resources in the region. Therefore, it is important that when you register you write correctly your name and the address of the travel agency or organization where you work.
