FAMILY LEISURE
The la casa-museo del Ratoncito Pérez is a place that the children will love. The Enchanted Forest (Bosque Encantado) is also very attractive and educative.
The Parque Europa is located in Torrejón de Ardoz, and it is a park where you can admire the replicas of 18 European monuments like the London Bridge, the Brandenburg Gate or the Eiffel Tower. The entrance is free and many activities can be done, these last you have to pay. On the other hand, in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, the Enchanted Forest is a fascinating botanic garden that hosts 500 plant species and 300 vegetable sculptures, representing varied forms like a dragon, an elefant or a locomotive.
Another family learning proposal is Micropolix, in San Sebastián de los Reyes. It is a small-scale city where children can be adults for one day filling different roles. In order to earn some "eurix", they can work as policemen, doctors, reporters, firefighters or whatever they want to be. In Micropolix children are the citizens and main characters, while their parents are the tourists.
One of the many possibilities to spend the day with your family is to go to a theme park. You can enjoy the animals in Zoo-Aquarium of Madrid, in Faunia with its variety of habitats and the Safari of Aldea del Fresno.
If you prefer stronger emotions, you must visit the Parque de Atracciones of Madrid, the Parque Warner of San Martín de la Vega, or take a look from the air with the Teleférico de Madrid, which connects the city with the Nature of the Casa de Campo.
