NIGHTLIFE
Madrid never sleeps, that is the local saying. Its nightlife invites you to let yourself go until late at night in different areas depending on your tastes.
Our first stop will be the area of Argüelles-Moncloa, whose proximity to colleges and residences make it the youth area par excellence. Here you can start with a bite to eat at affordable prices and then have fun with your friends in the many bars and nightclubs until late at night. Not far away, in the area of Alonso Martinez, the youthful public is concentrated in the early hours thanks to the existence of discos dedicated to the youngest, but as the night goes by, the age also increases and the area is filled with very diverse people who want to enjoy a good cocktail and have a good time.
A few meters away is the well-known neighborhood of Chueca. The streets Fuencarral and Barquillo delimit this cosmopolitan area full of bars that has become an LGBT reference. Next, we arrive at Malasaña, Madrid's leading trendy area that offers alternative rhythms and above all reminiscent of the movida madrileña.
Our next stop is the neighborhood of Las Letras. Many tourists come to Huertas to enjoy the musical proposals of its locals in which pop, rock and indie music are the real protagonists. Although after walking through its streets, mostly pedestrian, and crossing the Plaza Santa Ana, flamenco becomes the protagonist thanks to different tablaos.
Next to the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol is the traditional neighborhood of La Latina, although it is known for its gastronomic offer also gives us the opportunity to have fun in places with live performances, pubs with delicious cocktails and as in the previous case a variety of tablaos where you can enjoy a good flamenco show.
Of course we can not finish our list without mentioning on the one hand the financial area of Azca and Paseo de la Castellana, where after finishing your workday you can have a beer in one of its taverns and later, after dinner, enjoy a good cocktail or a drink prepared with great care. On the other hand and to conclude, the Salamanca neighborhood, where you will find one of the most exclusive environments of the city and where you will vibrate thanks to the commercial rhythms of pop and house.
In addition, through the Association of Live Music Venues La Noche en Vivo you can access a wide range of live performances of both established artists and new talents.
