 REDUEÑA

The area is crossed by the Arroyo de las Huertas and five cattle trails. There is a natural interpretation trail -two kilometers long- that runs through the pasture and shows the main natural elements.

The horseshoeing colt, recently restored, is a very valuable element that shows the cattle tradition. The stonework was also present and, in fact, the stones with which part of the Cibeles Fountain and some statues of the Paseo del Prado, in Madrid, were built come from Redueña.

The artistic heritage is represented by the Church of San Pedro Advíncula and by the cemetery -in which a 15th century Gothic cross on a decorated column stands out-. The church, built in stone, may have its origin in the late Middle Ages although it also has later elements. It has a nave with buttresses and a semicircular triumphal arch, and the entrance doorway is Renaissance. The church also has valuable elements in its interior and a tower of masonry and ashlar masonry.
