Villanueva de Perales

VILLANUEVA DE PERALES

The landscape of the locality is formed, to the north and southeast, by dense oak groves and pastures. The area is also crossed by the river Perales and several streams that originate riverside vegetation with high landscape value.

The most outstanding artistic heritage of Villanueva de Perales is found in its religious and civil architecture. The religious architecture includes the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepción -built in 1970- and the Hermitage of San Norberto, from the beginning of the 20th century. In the civil area, the facades of some old houses and several fountains stand out.

We suggest you to follow the Route of the Cañada Real Segoviana that starts at the Interpretation Center of Livestock Trails and runs for 21 km until you reach Sevilla la Nueva. More information by clicking here or download the route directly from the Vias Pecuarias website.
