COSLADA

Very close to the capital of the region of Madrid, about 10 km east of it, it is part of a protected natural area, the Southeast Regional Park.

The archaeological zone of El Calvario has been in the process of being declared a site of cultural interest since 1991. In addition to the very Madrilenian festivities of San Isidro, in May, which usually last about four days, the main festivities of Nuestra Señora del Amor Hermoso, patron saint of the municipality, are held during the second weekend of June. The Margarita Nelken Cultural Center hosts since 1994 the Cosl'Art that aims to support the most avant-garde creators.
