SIERRA DE GUADARRAMA NATIONAL PARK BUS

Peripheral bus that goes through the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.

To facilitate the connection between the municipalities of the mountains included in the National Park or its peripheral protection area, encouraging the use of public transportation, a new circular bus line has been launched.

The service will be provided all the weekends until May 2015. Beginning at 9:30 A.M. there will be a bus every two hours in each way. The whole journey will take about three hours.

The circular way has 14 stops connecting 8 municipalities: Soto del Real, Miraflores de la Sierra, Rascafría, Cercedilla, Navacerrada, Becerril de la Sierra, Cerceda and Manzanares el Real.

In winter time, before to go out, is recommended to call 91 849 96 16, to avoid potential incidents dued to bad weather.

The NAtional Park bus will allow visitors to create their perfect route. In linear routes, the bus will allow the visitor come back to the starting point comfortably. In the National Parck Visitors Centers stops (Peñalara, Valle de la Fuenfría, La Pedriza and Puente del Perdón) you will be able to do free guided toursvisiting some of the best NAtional Park locations (Program Punto de Encuentro).

Guide Service:

Each bus will have a bilingual guide (English and Spanish) informint about the history, traditions and the main natural values of the National Park.

Bycicle Transportation

You can load the bycicle in the boot of the bus.

GPS Platform

Included an information servie through a BIDI Code in the stop posters, where the users can get information about the bus locations and calculate the witing times.

Prize

Te cost will be 0,50 € each time accessing the bus.
There is a Daily Coupon (1,50 €) with unlimited journeys.
