San Sebastián de los Reyes Festivities

Between August 25 and September 1, San Sebastián de los Reyes hosts a full program of concerts and activities in honor of the Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios.

The Region of Madrid once again celebrates this summer fiesta, declared a National Tourist Interest since 1985, thanks to the traditional running of the bulls through the streets of the historic center of San Sebastian, which dates back to 1525.

The numerous bleachers along the route allow people of all ages to enjoy the six runs of the bulls, which run from the old part of the city to the bullring.

This tradition also has a program full of activities for all ages that fill the streets of San Sebastián with color and music, with its peñas, charangas, fireworks... The activities include concerts in the municipal amphitheater and in the Plaza de la Constitución by artists such as Dani Fernández, Viva Suecia, Nancys Rubias, Antoñito Molina, Pica Pica Rubén Madrid or Mägo de Oz, among others.

Religious events are another of the most outstanding traditions of these festivities and include the celebration of the Triduum on August 27 and the High Mass on August 28, both events in the parish of San Sebastián Mártir.

With the entire program of activities revealed, the countdown for this year's Fiestas de San Sebastián de los Reyes has already begun. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this nearly five hundred year old tradition!
