From June 28 to July 7, Madrid will once again celebrate LGTBIQA+ Pride.
Under the slogan "Love who you love, Madrid loves you", the largest Pride festival in Europe will once again make diversity visible and demand equal rights for the collective.
MADO (Madrid Orgullo), the big LGTBIQA+ Pride party, brings a lively program that begins with Chueca's Pride, a neighborhood celebration with acts and events in a variety of venues in the area.
The proclamation of Pride on July 3rd kicks off the festivities, followed the next day by the always exciting Heel Race on Pelayo Street.
In addition, as every year since 2017, MADO presents the Madrid SUMMIT, a human rights conference with meetings and dialogues on the LGTBIQA+ reality. This year, the conference will focus on global human rights violations, legal setbacks and the infiltration of transphobia in institutions. The VI edition of the Madrid SUMMIT will take place on July 5th at the offices of the European Parliament and the European Commission in Spain.
The highlight of Madrid Pride will be its closing event on Sunday, July 7th, which will conclude a week full of demands and celebrations around equality, diversity and inclusion.
