III Wine Fair of San Martín de Valdeiglesias

The San Martín de Valdeiglesias Wine Fair will be held on June 7, 8 and 9 in the city's bullring.

Now in its third year, the event has established itself as a benchmark in the region's wine tourism calendar, promising a unique experience for wine lovers.

San Martín de Valdeiglesias, one of the four sub-zones within the Vinos de Madrid Denomination of Origin, has a rich winemaking tradition that dates back to the 11th century.

This historical relationship with wine has been immortalized in the works of universal authors such as Miguel de Cervantes and Jorge Manrique.

The municipality is home to seven wineries, while another eleven are located in the other municipalities of the sub-region, all of them committed to quality and environmental sustainability.

These wineries will participate in the III Wine Fair, conceived as an essential meeting point for producers, with the aim of supporting the agricultural economy and promoting the economic diversification of the region.
