The Colmenar de Oreja Wine Fair (XX Feria del Vino y el Comercio de Colmenar de Oreja) celebrates its twentieth edition on May 21st and 22nd in the town's Plaza Mayor.

Under the slogan "City of Wine", this town in the southeast of the Region of Madrid will become the epicenter of the Wines of Madrid for a few days.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste an exceptional selection of wines from local wineries such as Antonio Benito, Figueroa, Jesús Díaz, Pedro García and Peral. In addition to these tastings, master ham slicing demonstrations, artisan cheese tastings, olive oil tastings and a wide variety of traditional tapas will delight the most discerning palates.

In addition, interactive workshops cover a wide range of topics, from guided wine and olive oil tastings to a family workshop on scientific bird banding.

Entertainment will be provided by the Vermouth Session, featuring local musical groups such as "Shangai Baby" and "Niña Polaca", as well as folkloric dance performances by the Agrupación Folclórica "La Faltriquera" and "Los Zambomberos".
