The "Azul Picasso" exhibition comes to Buitrago del Lozoya

On March 9th, Buitrago del Lozoya will host the exhibition "Azul Picasso" at the Museo Picasso-Colección Eugenio Arias.

This exhibition, which will also take place on October 26th, aims to pay tribute to the creative life of Pablo Picasso and his different artistic periods: the blue period, the pink period, cubism or surrealism.

Once in Buitrago del Lozoya, one of the obligatory stops in this fortified medieval town is its old quarter, where you can stroll through its narrow cobbled streets and admire its complex architecture.

In addition to visiting this interesting museum, take the opportunity to stroll around the walls of this city, whose historic center has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest since 1993, and take a tour of the most emblematic corners of the municipality, such as the exterior of the castle of the Mendoza family, the iconic Clock Tower and the majestic church of Santa Maria del Castillo, or Plaza Constitution, among others.

Looking at its culinary offer, there is a wide variety of restaurants where you can enjoy the exquisite typical dishes of the region, such as 'judiones' (large white beans) or the sirloin steak from the local veal of the area.
