A new edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR 2024), organized by IFEMA MADRID, will take place at the Fairgrounds, its usual venue, from January 24 to 28.

With more than 8,000 exhibiting companies and a varied tourism offer, this year FITUR has Ecuador as a partner country and the presence of tourism offers from more than 130 countries.

The Region of Madrid will once again participate in FITUR 2024 to present its rich tourism offer in an innovative way. With an interactive exhibition tour in real time, on 9 large format screens, visitors will be able to learn, through live connections or broadcasts, about the different tourist resources of the region, from the best known to the most innovative or lesser known (monuments, museums, restaurants, wineries, flamenco shows, villages, amusement parks, shops, routes and natural areas...), with the possibility of interacting with the reporters responsible for each of the broadcasts. This format, never before seen at a tourism fair, will bring unique content to each visitor in real time.

In addition, historical figures will entertain the presentation of the novelties of the World Heritage sites in Madrid (Alcalá de Henares, Aranjuez and San Lorenzo de Escorial), and the tourist offer of the four regions that make up MadRural: Las Vegas and La Alcarria, Sierra de Guadarrama, Sierra Norte and Sierra Oeste, because Madrid is also a destination of nature and active tourism.

On the other hand, new gastronomic products will be presented, such as the "Guía de restaurantes con solera" by Hostelería Madrid, as well as the varied and lively nightlife offer. Flamenco, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity, will play a leading role this year, as Madrid's tablaos are an essential and unique resource in our region.
