Places to enjoy nature

In the Region of Madrid we can find different natural spaces for hiking and enjoying nature.

The circular route of La Pedriza is ideal for a hiking day, with a distance of 14.1 kilometres and a privileged location in the Sierra de Guadarrama, where you can enjoy fantastic landscapes.

The Purgatory Waterfall (Rascafría) is an 11.8-kilometre route where you can enjoy a waterfall and a deciduous forest with a wide variety of trees.

The Schmidt Way is another 13-kilometre circular route, which starts in Puerto de Navacerrada and is also of great historical significance.

These are just some of the possibilities offered by the Community of Madrid to enjoy hiking and nature.
