Tourism in Madrid
It will be held from June 8 to 10 for the first time in Madrid, in the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey.
The second week of June, Madrid is filled with music with the celebration of the Primavera Sound festival, which lands in our Community, after more than 20 editions in Barcelona, where this year is celebrated from June 1 to 3. An invisible thread unites different venues in both cities, but also the spaces of the Parc del Fòrum, in Barcelona, and the Cívitas Metropolitano, in the capital, the scene of the free opening days and the closing days of Brunch Electronik. A great musical party that can be experienced across two cities, 15 venues, 92 artists and 118 shows.
Prior to its arrival at the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey, Primavera Sound Madrid will take place in a dozen venues in the Spanish capital: La Riviera, Clamores, El Sol, Independance, Shoko, Sala Nazca, Sala Changó, La Paqui, Sala Mon and Teatro Eslava will be the venues between Monday the 5th and Sunday the 11th of June.
Under the slogan I'll be your mirror, the festival will feature more than 200 performances at each venue, with artists such as Depeche Mode, Kendrick Lamar, Blur, Rosalía, Halsey, FKA twigs, New Order, Skrillex, St. Vincent, The Moldy Peaches, Calvin Harris and Le Tigre.
Primavera Sound is one of the most important music festivals in Spain and brings together the best musical alternatives of the national and international scene. It is one of the essential musical events, which is held in many other cities around the world such as Porto, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile.
