Music and performances at the 14th edition of the Picnic Sessions

Under the slogan "Palabra chachachá", will be held at the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M) in Móstoles from May 25 to June 29.

The CA2M (Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo), with the Picnic Sessions, develops a program of activities that mix the body and sound with the educational and participatory. Free of charge, this year's edition features the participation of national and international artists like Llorenç Barber, Park Keito, Juf, Paula Miralles, Joris Lacoste or Matthieu Blond, and includes a diverse program with creators that deal with choreography, poetry, music, languages and computer programming.

The Picnic Society was born in London at the beginning of the 19th century, an association that met regularly in the open air and at whose meetings each member was expected to provide part of the entertainment and refreshments without a specific host.

Like the Picnic Society, and based on this concept, the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo invites several curators each year to design a program for the Museum's terrace. Quim Pujol, the curator of this year's event, has designed a wide range of activities that emphasize language through music and performances.
