The town of Aranjuez is getting ready for a weekend with a special programme. Balloon rides and a Jazz festival, don't miss it!

The days of 8 and 9 October make up a special weekend of family plans in Aranjuez. The hot air balloon festival "Villa de Aranjuez 2022" invites you to an aerial journey through the surrounding riverside skies.

Take-offs will take place from the Plaza de Parejas, at 08:00 and 17:00 h. on Saturday and at 08:00 h. on Sunday. In the same square there will be a night show, "La Noche Mágica" or "Night Glow". Up to fifteen balloons from all over the country will make up this fun and sporting moment, with the final touch at night with the balloons lit up against the backdrop of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez.

For its part, the "Off de Jazz" festival celebrates its third edition, bringing this musical style to the streets of the town. On Saturday, five bands and a chamber choir will play live music from different parts of the city.

From 13:00 to 14:00, concerts will be held at fixed points, such as Calle de la Reina or the garden of Isabel II, in front of the Mariblanca. There will also be two bands on the move, whose routes will be north and south. The bands participating in this festival are Whatever Jazz Band, Ribersax Ensemble, Sambay, Barba Dixie Band and IluBrass.
