Until September 25, the third floor of Espacio Fundación Telefónica will host the exhibition 'Connections in the Telefónica Collection', which merges for the first time the three main blocks of the Foundation's collection.

The exhibition brings together 90 pieces from the art collection, 36 pieces from the technological heritage and 50 pieces from the archive, presenting these three areas together, establishing dialogues and connecting ideas that allow us to contemplate the immense wealth of heritage from a new perspective.

From works by internationally renowned artists such as Juan Gris, Antoni Tàpies or Eduardo Chillida, to unique pieces from Telefónica's technological heritage such as shortwave radio transmitters from 1926, coils, telephones from 1913 or photographs documenting the construction in 1929 of the Telefónica building on Gran Vía. Visitors can also see references to the installation of the first telephone poles throughout Spain and dialing manuals, among others.

The Fundación Telefónica holds, researches and disseminates a collection of more than 70,000 pieces from different sources. Among its holdings are the Telefónica Cubist Collection, digital and technological works of art and deposits of modern photographs.

Come to Espacio Fundación Telefónica to visit 'Connections in the Telefónica Collection', one of the most important private art collections in Spain.
