Olive Oil fair stand

On March 8 and 9, the IFEMA halls will host the World Olive Oil Exhibition, the world's largest monographic fair dedicated to olive oil, read on!

Professionals and consumers of the so-called "liquid gold" have in these days an unmissable appointment. In the halls of IFEMA, the best representatives of the olive oil sector meet to promote, publicize and present new proposals around the precious oil.

With a view to past editions, the participation of around 1,000 companies from up to 47 different countries is expected. In total, the show will host 1,500 brands dedicated to the oil industry, in some of its many processes.

The fair's clear objectives are to stimulate the international trade of this oil and its by-products. It also puts the focus on the work for the opening of new markets, as well as in the promotion, care and respect for the olive grove as part of a sustainable environment. The fair is also a great point of information about the properties of this oil and its healthy qualities.

The fair is organized by Pomona Keepers, which works for the defense of the rural environment, as well as for the maintenance of the current olive groves. The organization estimates about 4,000 visitors spread over the two days of the fair.

Among the activities planned we can find, for example, the presentation of the Olive Oil Delicatessen Awards, dedicated to companies that use olive oil in their products. As it could not be otherwise, one of the most popular attractions is the tasting room, which offers its Picual Olive Oil Tasting, a seal of exceptional quality.

There will be conferences, talks and much debate in the aisles. A Gourmet Area will host different showcookings, showing the practical uses of oil in the kitchen, live.
