Weather in Madrid
Starting next Sunday, March 6, the Hipódromo de Madrid is back on the agenda. The new 2022 season starts on that day with Sunday morning races, until May!
The popular Hipódromo de la Zarzuela opens its new season with the arrival of mild weather. The famous horse races, in addition to all its leisure and restaurant offerings, will once again be held on its great track on Sunday mornings. This season has scheduled a total of 43 days in which up to 238 races will be held.
The new season runs throughout the year. Until almost December, the racecourse is a key leisure space in the capital. In addition to its sporting offer, always stimulating and with special events, celebrations and races, the racecourse has a great gastronomic offer, ranging from its famous foodtrucks or food stations, to its variety of tapas, rations and cocktails.
The weekend brunch tastes better at the racecourse thanks to its foodtrucks. Moose burgers, Dorbys hot dogs, Vanis crepes or grilled meats from the BBQ Station Turf, without forgetting the traditional sandwiches from Caprichos del Hipódromo. An offer for all palates
The racetrack was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1980 and, in addition to its sporting spirit, it also allows visitors to enjoy its gardens and open spaces. Its 20,000 square meters also house a Premium area, where you can enjoy the usual races in an exclusive space, with bar area, catering and chill out.
In addition, if you do not want to miss any detail, you can book a guided tour to know all the facilities, the ins and outs of horse racing and the professionals of this sport. Hipotur offers you a day of immersion, and you can leave the role of spectator to immerse yourself in a vibrant day at the racetrack.
Do not hesitate and, this spring, visit the Hippodrome!
