The Madrid town of Pedrezuela celebrates the winter season in style with an extensive cultural program for the whole family. Music, theater, exhibitions and other activities to spend the coldest season, read on!
Pedrezuela, which is located 42 km away from the capital, enhances its tourist attraction with this winter program that comes to an end during the month of March. The municipal Cultural Center of the town has filled the colder months with activities for all audiences, but you still have time to enjoy this seasonal program.
On Saturday, March 12, violinist Blanca Altable presents her show "We are dust", a recital accompanied by powerful audiovisual projections that transport the audience to natural spaces such as forests or oceans.
On Saturday, March 19, the company Juan Villén brings to Pedrezuela its "Children's stories for adults", which brings a fair touch of humor to these celebrations. On Saturday, March 26, it is the turn of "La senda del agua", which narrates the vision of a king of the twelfth century around water as an element with the help of puppets.
In addition, until the 17th you can enjoy "Nosotras. Protagonists of the advertising message", an exhibition curated by Ángela Suau that reconstructs the historical representation of women in commercial advertising. This is the winning project of Red Itiner of the region of Madrid for the year 2022.
In parallel, the local library has also organized various activities and meetings. On March 21, World Poetry Day, the occasion will be honored with a poetry recital that goes through the most famous national milestones in this art of the last decades.
This year, say goodbye to winter in Pedrezuela!
