Jazz Círculo, the jazz music concert series organized annually by the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, is back for another season. In its XV edition, jazz returns stronger than ever to the center's Sala de Columnas, don't miss it!

Until February 2022, six concerts have been organized that place this musical genre in the most present agenda. There will be the usual mix between tradition and avant-garde and between its precise execution and the best hallmark of jazz, creative live improvisation.

On November 5, the vocal jazz and rhythm & blues of Pedro Ruy-Blas will sound with force at the Círculo. One of the most important voices of jazz and black music in the country for several decades presents his project "Back to Soul" and will be accompanied by outstanding musicians of the national scene: Mariano Díaz Toth and his piano, Joaquín Chacón on guitar; Daniel Pozo playing double bass and Dani García on drums.

The next date is November 19. The band Ariel Brínguez will present its repertoire "Nostalgia Cubana", a selection of the best Cuban music of the genre. The band is a quintet led by tenor and soprano saxophonist Ariel Brínguez, accompanied by Reinier Elizarde on double bass, Georvis Pico on drums, Pablo Gutiérrez on piano and Javier Sánchez on guitar. An invitation to experience an authentic intimate session of live Cuban music.

On November 25, Madrid flautist Carmen Vela presents "Camina", her first solo work, a fusion of jazz, Brazilian rhythms and flamenco inspiration. She is accompanied by Julio Martín on piano, Darío Gilbert on double bass and Gonzalo Maestre on drums.

If you are in the mood for more, three other recitals are scheduled for February. On the 4th Jorge Pardo and Gil Goldstein will present their new work, "Brooklyn Sessions". On the 11th, Javier Colina, Pepe Rivero and José M. Rui (Bandolero) will play live tracks from their album "El pañuelo de Pepa" and, on the 18th, the quintet In Memoriam Bob Sands will pay tribute to this musician, Bob Sands, who recently passed away.

Don't miss this exquisite selection of live jazz music, come to the Círculo de Bellas Artes!
