Teatralia Circus 2021 is the family festival that arrives after last year’s success and where you can fulfill all your scenic dreams. Circus, dance, music and physical theater are just some elements within four different shows including an overall of 8 performances.
On the 25th anniversary of Teatralia, the International Festival of Performing Arts for all audiences of the Community of Madrid, the green and red halls of the Teatros del Canal will host shows for children and adults which include all disciplines and the best-known circus arts: magic, juggling, balancing acts, etc., mixed with contemporary dance and theater.
There will be four companies on stage, three Spanish and one French, with four shows, one per weekend. It opens on Saturday and repeats on Sunday.
Leandre Clown. Rien à dire (August 14 and 15), with awards such as the City of Barcelona for Best Staging 2014 or the Circus of Catalonia Award for Best Show 2014, is always a wise choice, recommended for all audiences.
The role of clown Leandre in this play is to generate humor with total absence of words. This show was inspired by Chez Leandre, a street performance with which this clown toured half the world, totaling 400 performances. With a duration of approximately one hour, the surprise is guaranteed.
The theater has always been a place of expression and freedom; Teatralia Circus arrives to remind us of this for yet another year. Do not miss out and book your tickets for the shows on stage on weekends from July 24 to August 15.
