The Teatro Real of Madrid presents "El Real Junior: Festival Real Junior'', a music festival aimed at children and young audiences to be held on June 12. This concert program is a perfect plan to celebrate the end of classes and the beginning of summer and a unique opportunity to bring the little ones closer to classical music.
The performance is made up of 15 operas with pieces ranging from the 17th century to the present day. You can also have fun with other shows such as puppet shows, film projections or dances.
The orchestra and choir of the Youth Orchestra of the Community of Madrid conducted by Rubén Gimeno, will be responsible for you to spend an unforgettable day. The JORCAM, created in 2009, aims to promote the learning of young talents through interpretation and knowledge to turn young musicians into great professionals.
On the other hand, the master of ceremonies will be the renowned script writer and composer Fernando Palacios, who already has experience as a presenter having participated and directed programs on Radio Clásica as Concierto Desconcierto or Sonido y oído.
Some of the works to be heard are "Un ballo in maschera", by Giuseppe Verdi, with which the concert will open, "The Birth of the Sun King", "Elektra", "Don Fernando, the emplaced" and "Orlando Furioso". In addition, seven new productions of the Teatro Real will be premiered and you will be able to see two world premieres: "Marie" and "Tránsito".
There will also be surprise guests with whom you will spend an unforgettable day.
