Weather in Madrid
With the arrival of spring and good weather, four international contemporary art fairs in Madrid have decided to join forces this May for a great celebration: Art Week. From May 26 to 30 you have an appointment at Hybrid Art Fair, Art Madrid, Drawing Room and Artist Experience.
A journey through the most significant art of the 21st century discovering the latest trends and innovations.
Hybrid Art Fair
The fifth edition of this international fair is not only aimed at visiting art galleries, Hybrid Art Fair seeks to showcase new and alternative spaces to exhibit works and creations from around the world. Thus, this year's edition is committed to emerging artists and original proposals and has more than 70 exhibitors.
In Madrid, the event will be held from May 28 to 30 at the Hotel Riu Plaza España. The exhibition venue is an unusual setting: the hotel's own room where, thanks to the originality of the proposed activities, you can enjoy a unique experience.
With 15 editions behind it, Art Madrid returns this year from May 26 to 30 at the Galería de Cristal del Palacio de Cibeles so you can once again enjoy live art and experience it with all your senses. This year's highlights include a curated tour of 12 works guided by artist Natalia Alonso and a free advisory program for collectors led by Pía Rubio.
This international fair has been a showcase for numerous galleries and artists from all branches (painting, sculpture, photography, etc.). This year, more than 150 artists from 32 national galleries have decided to join this project.
Drawing Room returns to Madrid with its sixth edition from May 26 to 30, the international celebration of contemporary drawing. The exhibitions will take place in the renowned rationalist building of the second half of the 19th century, the Palace of Santa Barbara.
Other Madrid art galleries such as Lucía Mendoza, Ogami Press, My name's Lolita and Silvestre will also be present.
You will also be able to enjoy the online fair in which works from 19 different galleries from around the world will be exhibited. A project that has been made possible thanks to the success of Drawing Room Store, the sales and exhibition platform that has 70 international galleries and more than 2,000 artworks signed by 350 artists.
Artist Experience arrives in Madrid from May 26 to 30 with a new edition of the fair entitled "Spring full of joy and hope" at the Carlos de Amberes Foundation.
In this event, you will be able to attend exhibitions in which the artists and galleries themselves will sell their works without intermediaries. In addition, you will have the opportunity to also attend online thanks to the Artis Digital Fair project.
