Exhibition "Madrid. Far West Territory"
Did you know that of the more than 500 westerns that were filmed in Europe, 200 of them were made in Madrid? In the exhibition "Madrid. Far West Territory" exhibition you can discover the main locations where these films were shot, full of hats, dusters, ponchos and feather plumes.

Tomavistas 2021 Festival
From 19 to 21 May enjoy the Tomavistas 2021 Festival, which will be held in the Enrique Tierno Galán Park. A sustainable and "family friendly" festival to enjoy music and leisure with the family. Three days of open-air concerts, where you will find national and international artists and bands from the underground scene, a unique experience!
Some classics... of the cinema!
Don't miss the exhibition "Some classics... of the cinema! From 28 May at the Casa Museo de Lope de Vega. A journey through cinema and its evolution, with proposals to bring to the big screen the dramatic works of Lope de Vega, Calderón de la Barca and Tirso de Molina. Admission is free.
Madrid Meridian: dream and lie
Until 29 August, visit Pep Agut's new project at the Palacio de Cristal in the Retiro Park. The work questions the art space as a public space par excellence, fusing art with its political positioning.
"Cervantes in the European Theatre of the 20th and 21st Centuries" and "Characters".
This temporary exhibition takes a journey through the theatrical productions of Miguel de Cervantes. A historical itinerary through the most representative European productions of the last 100 years. It is a free exhibition aimed at all audiences with photographic and audio-visual archives that can be visited until 17 October at the Cervantes Birthplace Museum.
In addition, the museum offers dramatized readings "Characters" during the weekends in May. The readings will be given by different experts, who will give a short lecture dedicated to their favourite character from Don Quixote. Admission and activities are free until full capacity is reached.
The new free platform of audio-visual content that already has more than 100 pieces of temporary exhibitions held in halls and museums of the Community of Madrid, performing arts and theatre pieces, cinema -documentaries and more than 60 short films-, and different music and dance shows. Until 25 July, the presentation of the fourth edition of the programme "Mutaciones". Artistic interventions in several museums in the region: The Casa Museo Lope de Vega, the Museo Casa Natal de Cervantes, the Museo Picasso - Eugenio Arias Collection and the Centro de Interpretación de Nuevo Baztán.
Bene Bergardo. Irreversible
From 27 May to 25 July, the Sala Alcalá 31 is hosting an exhibition of large pieces and various installations by the sculptor "Bene Bergardo. Irreversible", a reflection from different points of view on how the decisions taken by the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors can influence our society.
