The 28th edition of Estampa lands in the capital to remind us of the importance of galleries in Spain. From April 8 to 11, IFEMA's Pavilion 6 will be attended by 80 national and international galleries, which will focus on art and private and public collecting.
The contemporary art fair seeks to surprise with its most special spring edition, with the aim of becoming a must-attend event for collectors and galleries. With a great trajectory behind it, it has managed to position itself as a European reference.
Estampa will show the reality of current Spanish art, but it will also hold debates, forums and various activities.
The guest of this edition will be Victoria Civera, an artist focused on the construction of objects, who will present the large-scale sculpture Aviador Sibila.
The new Collectors' Tours program will be responsible for coordinating and guiding groups of collectors, new buyers, professionals and special guests. The tours, nine through 25 galleries, will be broadcast live on social media, with audio files in podcast chapters of each day that will form a complete radio program.
Authentic art advisors and specialists will plan an exclusive tour of the different stands, depending on the needs and interests of the groups. The guided tour will end with a meeting in the VIP lounge.
This edition will also have a virtual space, parallel to the fair, where galleries will be able to show their works in the same way. This tool will remain active until the following weeks, so that attendees and interested parties can access all the information and proposals.
