From April 7 to May 9 enjoy the Festival Madrid en Danza, in a multitude of theaters throughout the Community of Madrid. Undoubtedly a show that will turn the Community of Madrid in the world heart of dance and art in motion. You can not miss it!
This 36th edition of the Madrid en Danza Festival will program approximately 50 shows, with 23 premieres, from both national and international companies, in what will be a great showcase of dance in all its expressions and in communion with other arts such as puppetry, 3D hypermedia, visual arts, and experimental music, among others.
The festival will expand for the first time the variety of dance styles throughout the region, with a program that will focus on Madrid capital and the Teatros del Canal, but will also reach a score of municipalities and multiple spaces in the city, some not so conventional, such as markets, gardens or art galleries.
These two months will have an extensive program, with activities for all audiences. The artists that make up the lineup come both from outside the country and from different regions of Spain, including Madrid, Andalusia, Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia and the Valencian Community. In addition, there will be a special look at dance from the Basque Country, which will have a large presence at Madrid's Sala Cuarta Pared.
The great variety of dance styles and the places where the shows will take place make this festival an event within the reach of all audiences, who will be amazed by the beauty of this art. Do not hesitate, it will not leave you indifferent!
