IV contest of the best torrijas (French toast) in Madrid
Until April 11, you can taste the torrijas of the contest organized by the Association of artisan pastry and bakery entrepreneurs of the community of Madrid (ASEMPAS), held to reward the best artisan torrijas. The winner in the traditional torrija category is the pastry shop 'Paco Pastel' in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Take advantage of this magnificent opportunity to savor the best quality torrijas, an experience that will surprise even the most demanding palates.

Typical Madrilenian gastronomy during Easter Week
One of the most delicious aspects of Easter is the multitude of typical recipes for these dates. Sweets and traditional dishes for all tastes. In Madrid and other cities, solidarity fabadas will be prepared and there will be demonstrations and masterclasses that can be followed live on streaming platforms.
