The Teatro Circo Price opens its doors again to host the XI International Magic Festival of Madrid. The best magicians in the world will gather from February 24 to March 14 in a show that promises to surprise and leave you open-mouthed.
The Festival will be directed by Jorge Blass, but will count with the presence of Javier Latorre, National Dance Award, as narrator and presenter. Humor, magic effects and illusionism will make up a new edition in which tradition and technology will be combined to present different disciplines of magic.
Card magic and micromagic will be the protagonists of Close-up Magic, a show that will be held at the Parish Hall and will feature Adrian Vega, Amelie and Mario Lopez to offer a short distance and intimate experience.
The International Magic on Stage Gala will offer fifteen performances with specialties of all kinds. This main event will bring together the Korean Han Man Ho, the card magician Dani Daortiz, the illusionist Mag Marin, the Spaniards Diego&Elena, as well as the Italian escapologist Andrew Basso with the risky trick "Water Tank'' by Houdini.
The new illusionists will also have a place thanks to the New Talents Contest. The Madrid Magic City Award will recognize the artistic trajectory of important figures of the capital. In turn, the Magic Lectures on History will be the ideal place for curious visitors who wish to learn more about magic effects and traps.
Madrid becomes the epicenter of magic and illusionism, giving life to a show where anything can happen. The International Magic Festival will turn the audience into children to make them recover the illusion, surprise and, above all, make them smile.
