A selection of the most current contemporary art in which themes related to identity, individual and collective, are raised. These themes are approached from the personal experience of the artists, and represent alternatives to question the established order.

Flying over the city
Until February 28 you can enjoy the group exhibition "Sobrevolar la ciudad", at the Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero Madrid.
The exhibition offers five perspectives through five artists, dealing with the city and its inhabitants. A special look through the personal experiences of the artists, different landscapes and points of view that will make you reflect.

Joanie Lemercier, Landscapes of Light
Until July 25 you can visit Joanie Lemercier's first exhibition in Spain, "Paisajes de luz" (Landscapes of Light), free of charge. The exhibition takes place on the fourth floor of Espacio Fundación Telefónica. Lemercier's work focuses on the creation of pieces that use projected light to alter our visual perception. A wonderful work that transforms the appearance of things and will make you question reality, not to be missed!

From pictograms to emoticons
The Regional Archive of the Community of Madrid offers free admission to the permanent exhibition "The great invention of writing: from pictograms to the emoticon". The exhibition is a journey through the history of writing, from its origin to the present day.
