There is another way to enjoy Madrid, one that includes free and sustainable plans and activities for the general public. Do you want to know about it? You have until March to do so.
Habitat Madrid is composed of a set of activities including guided tours to parks, nurseries or wildlife centers, courses and workshops for families and adults, bike school, ornithological itineraries on foot and 'biciaves', by bike, urban hiking, exhibitions and environmental days.
All of them have been programmed and designed by environmental information and education centers. With a previous reservation -since the number of places is limited- you will be able to access all these plans for free and, in case you are a minor, accompanied by an adult.
If you are interested in gardening and organic gardens, attend a webinar on climate change and food or simply take a walking or cycling route through the most emblematic parks, hidden gardens and green areas of the city. Habitat Madrid is your place.
You can also visit composting plants, greenhouses like the one in Arganzuela, participate in scavenger hunts and thematic workshops on birds and sustainable cities to make your afternoons and weekends fun, ecological and educational.
Do not hesitate any longer, find out everything you can do in Habitat Madrid and enjoy sustainability.
