There is no doubt that during the last few months, the TikTok application has caused a sensation among the youngest people, since through a simple process, they can upload videos on various subjects, mostly humorous, accompanied by music. But on this occasion, we surprise you and encourage you to follow the account of the Prado Museum, one of the first art galleries that has dared to generate a profile in this unique social network, which has attracted the attention of young and not so young thanks to the explanations and curiosities that we discover about great works of art that the museum houses. This is the case of the clips: 'o tienes amor o comes barro', 'la firma de Velázquez', or 'el paso de la laguna Estigia, de Patinir'. Find out for yourself at this link.
Now you can go sightseeing without leaving home and explore the Sierra del Rincón, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005, through the routes subsidised by the Region of Madrid that will take you to the towns of Montejo de la Sierra, also known for being home to the southernmost beech forest in Europe; Prádena del Rincón, a unique place very close to Madrid; La Hiruela, one of the best preserved towns in the region; and Puebla de la Sierra, which has one of the greatest diversities of flora and fauna in the area. Plans with kids
Due to the situation we are experiencing, the Teatro Sanpol surprises us with its new streaming proposal, which brings various musical works to all children in a virtual way. The experience begins with an entrance to the own theatre that will make us feel like spectators from their seats, and from there we can enjoy its programme that includes the works of "Aladino y la lámpara", "Cuento de Navidad", "Pinocho", "Los músicos de Bremen", "La flauta mágica" and "Hansel y Gretel". After finishing, the actors themselves will reveal the ins and outs of the theatre by explaining curiosities, how they put on their make-up, or how they rehearse, and will invite the audience to ask any questions that they wish. What are you waiting for to go to the theatre virtually?
