We are back for another week with 5 virtual plans for all tastes, with which you can go sightseeing, spend some fun time with your family through routes or educational workshops, attend exhibitions without moving from home and even do sports with a famous race, which now also comes in virtual format. Let's start!
Plans with kids
"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Sponge Bob" This friendly character, who delights the little ones, invites you to get to know the city through his guide 'Bob Esponja. Aventuras en Madrid' (SpongeBob. Adventures in Madrid) in a different way. Take a walk through the El Retiro Park, discover different museums, see the football stadiums and where the victories of their teams are celebrated, taste the most authentic gastronomy, test your skills with hobbies and much more. What are you waiting for?
This year marks the centenary of the birth of Miguel Delibes, one of the most loved, read and admired writers, and for this reason the Ateneo de Madrid pays his particular tribute with a virtual exhibition in which, through different slides, we will review the work of the Valladolid writer, but we will also see some drawings he made in the form of caricatures.
You only need your Smartphone to enjoy a 360º virtual experience in the Madrid town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. From its application for mobile devices, you will travel from the map to 4 historical places, making a trip to the past to know first hand, how the architecture was in the 18th century, and the changes produced in time. Are you ready? Travel has never been easier!
Leisure for all
The cultural space the Casa del Lector invites us to participate in different virtual workshops aimed at families. A varied offer that is changing and that at the moment surprises us on the one hand with the virtual workshop of narration and creation of an animated story through the 'Viaje literario por los países nórdicos'; and on the other with 'En cada casa un cuento', with which we will read stories on different themes, in which the little ones will participate actively with comprehension activities and the older ones will also be able to do so by playing with the intonation.
Finally, we invite you to participate in the 'Movistar Medio Maratón' (Movistar Half Marathon) race, which, after being cancelled for health reasons, invites us to put ourselves to the test through its online edition. To participate, all you have to do is register on its website, download the application, and choose your distance. After registration, you will receive your number and have access to the training sessions, and of course to compete until 31 October in the chosen distances. Don't miss the race, join in!
