The Guirau Hall of the Teatro Fernán Gómez. Centro Cultural de la Villa, raises the curtain this season with a new series, which under the name 'Madrid es Música (MEM), will delight us with different styles and musical genres until December 15. A new cultural proposal, that without a doubt we encourage you to discover with us...

After remaining closed during the summer due to the remodelling work carried out, the Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa opened its doors and last October 1st surprised us with a new music festival, aimed at all audiences.

This new festival, not focused on monographic genres or themes, seeks to reach a wider audience by including other styles such as Iberian music, folk, or blues among others, but giving much importance to flamenco, our most universal musical genre.

On the stage of the Sala Guirao, the artist Rodrigo Cuevas and his Trópico de Covandonga, Mayte Martín with Memento, different instrumentalists with Madrid Blues All Stars, and Pepe Habichuela and Kiki Morente with their show Habichuela-Morente.

The month of November will be the turn of Sés, the singer from A Coruña who will present her new record; on the 5th Luis Zambo and Luis Moneo, who will make a sound journey through two emblematic districts of Jerez de la Frontera; the following day, Antonio Reyes will present his new work 'Que suene el cante'; on the 9th it will be the turn of one of the best specialists in Hammond organ in our country, Julián Maeso Organ Trio, and closing the month of November, on the 8th it will be time for the project created by Colina, Carmona, Serrano and Barrueta.

We will have to wait until December to enjoy the fresh and fun music of Fetén Fetén and his guest artist Javier Ruibal; the rhythm of L. Peña, J. Heredia, J. Carrasco, El Pañero and El Perla; the talent of Delafé; the singing of Rosario La Tremendita and Belén López; the good work of Los Deltonos; the music of Mártires del Compás; the contemporary flamenco of Israel Fernández and Diego Del Morao; the art of one of the living legends of flamenco by the hand of Carrete de Málaga; the show of Pastora Galván; the last record of the Catalan singer-songwriter of Joana Serrat; and closing the first edition of this festival the performance of Ana Morales - Compañía de danza Sin Permiso.
