With the aim of encouraging the tourism sector, the Region of Madrid has launched the program Juntos 2020. Among the proposed activities, this week we highlight 'Descorcha Madrid', an initiative that invites visitors to visit different wineries to learn more about aspects related to the cultivation, production or wine tasting. Are you in?
As we advanced you, the Region of Madrid invites us to take part in the 'Descorcha Madrid' programme, organised in collaboration with the Asociación Madrid Rutas del Vino, which will allow participants to visit different wineries in the region, as well as learning first-hand about the winemaking process.
Below we provide you information on when and where the next appointments will take place:
On September 23rd in the Madrid town of Tielmes, there will be a 'Cóctel al atardecer'. Thanks to the Tagonius winery, at 7 p.m. participants will have the opportunity to tour the vineyards.
The town of Chinchón in Madrid will welcome us on 24th September at 10.30am, to visit the vineyard and the Val Azul winery. After the visit, a cocktail will be served, paired with the wines of the winery itself.
On 26 September, it will be the turn of two locations. On the one hand, Cadalso de los Vidrios, with its 'Danza del Vino', will invite us to visit the vineyards and the Winery 4 Monos, where we will invite us to make a tasting directly from the barrel, before tasting a traditional Madrid stew; and on the other hand, in Morata de Tajuña, where with its 'Órdago al vino', we will attend a meal with the most representative wines of the Muss Winery.
Closing the month, the next day in El Molar, we will visit the caves of Cerro de la Torreta and taste local wine.
Of course, during the month of October, activities will also be carried out as part of this initiative, but due to the situation resulting from the health crisis, we recommend that you stay tuned to the 'Juntos 2020' programme, to be updated on possible changes.
The capacity is limited; so don't forget to book your place as soon as possible on this link.
