Until 10th July, don't miss the festival 'Fuera de Red, atardeceres en los jardines de Hortaleza', a real summer proposal, with which we will enjoy chamber music in the open air, by the hand of the Fundación Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid. If you prefer it, you will be able to see it online.
With more than three decades of history, the ORCAM foundation has become a reference in the Spanish music scene. Made up of eight groups, its objective is none other than to promote classical music, generating new audiences of all ages.
On June 24th, was launched the first edition of this festival, which includes a total of nine open-air concerts in the gardens of the headquarters of the Fundación Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, which will last until July 10th.
A unique occasion, to enjoy the warm summer nights in a magical atmosphere with different musical proposals, ranging from classical to contemporary, performed by small groups.
So on the 30th 'El cuarteto de cuerda y música de cine' will surprise us with unforgettable soundtracks. On the 2nd of July, under the direction of Simón Andueza, we will hear 'Me suenan esos cuadros. Pintura y Música en el Museo del Prado', whose programme is inspired by the paintings of the Prado art gallery.
On July 7th, Fernando Rubia in collaboration with the sopranos Sandra Cotarelo and Iliana Sánchez, among other artists, will offer the chançon française; and the last two days will be dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven and Henry Purcell who will close the festival.
Tickets can be purchased through the Foundation's website, from where the concerts can also be viewed in streaming.
