To begin we go to Manzanares el Real to take part in the medium difficulty route 'Conociendo La Pedriza en Familia' (Knowing La Pedriza in Family), with which you will be able to cross that area, obtaining one of the best views of the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama. We continue in the surroundings of La Pedriza to explore the 'Tranco a Charca Verde' route, which runs between natural pools and fields created by erosion. A pleasant walk, which ends with the view of the two most characteristic natural monuments of La Pedriza.
Another option is to visit 'La Jarosa' reservoir through a circular route, in which we will enter the exciting world of flora and fauna to learn about the species that live there.
But, not all the routes are during the day, here is one that you will love, as it will take you hiking in Peñalara at sunset. A pleasant moonlight walk that will take you up to the most emblematic point of the Sierra de Madrid, Pico de Peñalara. The route includes an astronomy course provided by professionals.
If you still want more, don't miss the night walk at Los Molinos. A proposal of medium difficulty, in which you will enjoy unbeatable views of the nearby towns and the capital, where you will be witness to the rising of the moon, until it hides in the Alto del León.
