Since May 25, and after leaving phase 0, you can now enjoy the three-periurban parks in the region, always complying with a series of preventive measures against COVID-19. Take advantage of this to tour the region through its parks!
After several weeks barely being able to leave the house, or doing so but with limited hours, the Region of Madrid has finally changed phase, allowing us to travel around the region as we want, as long as we comply with some basic rules of prevention.
Lovers of outdoor activities in contact with nature are in luck since last week they opened to the public their three-periurban parks, three wide areas that add up to more than 500 hectares distributed among the capital and several localities.
We start in Madrid where you will find the Valdebernardo Park also known as the Lake Park, which has a great variety of trees and bushes and thematic areas, which you will discover on your way.
Joining Alcorcón, Leganés, Fuenlabrada, Getafe and Pinto, very close to the capital, we find our next green area, the well-known Bosquesur. That thanks to its extension, will allow you to make different activities since it has routes for all levels.
Finally, the park of Polvoranca that also extends through several municipalities (Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Móstoles and Leganés), is the ideal place to explore the different routes, let yourself be carried away by the beauty of its landscape and even enjoy watching the flight of various birds as the afternoon falls.
We encourage you to get to know these green spaces, if you do not already know them, where for the time being access to play areas, children's playgrounds, picnic areas and toilets will not be allowed until further notice, depending on the evolution of the phases.
