The Region of Madrid, from the situation generated by the appearance of the coronavirus COVID-19, surprises us with a pioneering initiative in the region, based on the use of Big Data online. This is a tourism intelligence project in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, which seeks to improve the experience of its visitors. Below we reveal you the keys!
As we advanced you, with the aim of improving the visitor's experience from a 360-degree view, this initiative has been promoted by the Region of Madrid, in collaboration with the Sierra de Guadarrama Development Association (ADESGAM).
Although this project arose before the situation we are experiencing caused by the pandemic, some fundamental aspects have been redefined in the assessment of the management of tourism companies.
Thanks to the use of different tourist platforms, it will be possible to know the opinion of the users and to analyse it in relation to their experience in restaurants, accommodations, natural and cultural resources as well as of the companies of activities that work in the 19 municipalities included in the zone of influence of the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
