The street is the perfect setting to recover tradition and above all as a meeting point between leisure and culture. All this is achieved with the celebration of the third edition of this theatre festival, in honour of our most universal artist of letters, Don Miguel de Cervantes. The place couldn't be better, on the famous Cuesta de Moyano, surrounded by terraces where you can have a drink, children's areas and very interesting craft stalls.
The program of this third edition, guarantees entertainment for the whole family that includes theatre, dance, music and verses, where the classic texts are adapted in a fresh and close way. The audience moves to a baroque 'corral de comedias' (theatrical courtyard), as a meeting point for locals and foreigners, where you can also enjoy a good gastronomic proposal, at the same time that we see the shows.
More than 120 performances, with 17 shows, all set in the Golden Age, and this year has an extension of the '42 Festival Internacional de Teatro Clásico de Almagro' (International Classical Theatre Festival). The location is on the emblematic slope of the booksellers; an incomparable setting that hosts this cultural and recreational festival.
