With summer comes free time and more plans for everyone, without leaving our region. On this occasion we surprise you with two activities for all audiences that will take place at the Casa Museo Lope de Vega: on the one hand the youngest will have a great time with a new edition of 'Teatralia de Oro'; and on the other hand, 'Summer Cinema', an option for lovers of the seventh art. Let's begin!
Teatralia de Oro
With the aim of showing children artistic creations from one of the most brilliant stages in the history of literature, 'Teatralia de Oro' was created last year, which on this occasion, and thanks to the success achieved, joins the celebration of the Lorca Year that this 2019 commemorates the Region of Madrid, dedicating this edition to the poet from Granada.
The Lope de Vega House Museum opens its doors to offer children from the age of 8, three shows that will surely captivate them. On July 13 will take place ‘Títeres de Cachiporra’ by the hand of the Teatro Arbolé, the following week Bailadera Títeres will bring us ‘La niña que riega la albahaca’, and closing the month, on July 27, Azar Teatro will represent 'A paso de rueda'.
The shows are free and with limited capacity, so to attend it is essential to book in advance through this digital registration form.
Cine de Verano
On the other hand, and as we mentioned before, the Lope de Vega House Museum has also thought about adult audiences and offers them a cycle of open-air cinema. The chosen theme is the female characters of the theatre that have become cultural icons and literary references.
Every Wednesday from 10pm, attendees can see the film screened free of charge, after collecting the ticket ten minutes before the start of the same.
The cycle began last 3rdJuly with "La casa de Bernarda Alba", if you have not been able to attend, we encourage you not to miss the next films scheduled for the following weeks:
10thJuly · "Casa de muñecas"
17thJuly · "La gaviota"
24thJuly · "Ifigenia"
31stJuly · "Fuenteovejuna"
As you can see, the Region of Madrid chooses the culture too in the summer season... stay with us!
