NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
Through the Alcarria Madrileña. According to legend, a walk along the Senda de Valmores will take you to the remains of the first population of the Arroyo de la Vega Valley. The Senda Galiana is another alternative. Not forgetting, flora, fauna and unique trees.
Nuevo Baztán is also nature. If hiking is your thing, you cannot miss the Senda de Valmores. The path partly follows the course of the Vega stream, which flows downstream into the Tajuña.
A natural forest dominated by oaks, although on the slopes of the valley grows one of the best preserved gall oak groves in the Community of Madrid, along the stream is dominated by riparian vegetation. The fauna, although elusive, is abundant, and the fox, the roe deer, the wild boar or the dormouse leave their tracks in the puddles when they go to quench their thirst. Birds like the bustard, the harrier, the lark, the lark, the owl or the peregrine falcon glide under the sky.
