EAT AND SLEEP

Don't leave without trying the local cuisine, delighting yourself with its typical sweets and tasting some of its wines, such as the award-winning V de Valmores.  The gastronomy of Nuevo Baztán is unmistakably Castilian, with roasts and lamb chops as the most representative element. Also recommended are the sheep cheese and the vegetables from the meadows of the area.

There are also some specialties, such as repápalos, a sweet made with wine and cinnamon vaguely reminiscent of pestiños. Another typical sweet is puches, a kind of sweet porridge traditionally eaten on the night of All Saints' Eve, and to accompany these dishes, there is nothing better than the local wine, V de Valmores, which has received several awards.

You can enjoy this gastronomic offer in the many typical restaurants of Nuevo Baztán, in one of the most picturesque and beautiful sceneries of the region.

And if you want to spend the night, we recommend a rural house where you will be welcomed as one of the locals.
