We present four routes of low and medium difficulty, suitable for all ages and recommended in any season, most of them are circular.
If you travel with your family, you can walk the Senda de las Gariñas. Route of approximately 4 km. It starts from the Lozoya River promenade. The trail runs in the vicinity of the reservoir, from which we can see the ruins of the old palace of Bosque.
Or if you prefer, you can walk along the Ruta de la Espadaña de la Trinidad, about 4 km long, starting from the north of the village and arriving, along a path surrounded by oaks, holm oaks and ash trees, to the bridge of Calicanto, from the 16th century and erected over the stream of Los Robles. After crossing this bridge there is a slight climb that leads to a private property where you can see the Espadaña de la Trinidad, the remains of the façade of the bell tower of an old hermitage.
The Senda del Embalse de Riosequillo is a linear route, which you can adjust to your liking. You can do the short version bordering the reservoir to reach the Recreational Area of Riosequillo where you can spend the day, or continue on your way after a picnic to Garganta de los Montes or, if you follow the signs of the Cañada Real Segoviana, to El Cuadrón.
The Senda del Cerro de Cinco Villas begins in the municipality and reaches the hill of Cinco Villas from where we can contemplate a panoramic view over the Lozoya Valley.
