Strawberry Train

STRAWBERRY TRAIN

Since 1984, the Madrid-Aranjuez route has been honoured with the Strawberry Train, whose atmosphere is reminiscent of 19th century travel. The wooden carriages are an exact replica of the originals and the stewardesses are dressed in period costumes.

The Strawberry Train departs in the morning from the old Delicias Station, today the Railway Museum, and arrives at Aranjuez Station, where a guided tour of the city and the Royal Palace begins. Then there is free time to visit the gardens and return to Madrid in the afternoon. Transportation and entrance fees are included in the overall price.
