Alcalá de Henares

ALLOW US TO GUIDE YOU...

If you want to enjoy a great tourist experience, you have different types of guided tours available: in monuments and through the streets, regular and dramatized. Take advantage of them!

We have designed four geolocated routes that will guide you through the most significant places in Alcalá. For a more complete visit, take advantage of the guided tours offered by the Tourist Office of Alcalá, which are detailed below.

The Cervantes Train

The train departs from Atocha station and the trip is enlivened by a group of actors and extras who, dressed in the style of the 17th century, represent Cervantes' hors d'oeuvres and offer travelers typical products of Alcalá's confectionery.

Guided walking tours

The Alcalá Tourist Office offers guided tours that can be enjoyed every weekend and public holiday throughout the year.

In the "City of the Three Cultures" tour, you will walk through medieval Alcalá, with its Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters.

The "City of the Storks" tour takes you through the historic center, which is home to one of Spain's most important stork nests.

The tour "The Literary City" is not limited to the footprint of Miguel de Cervantes, but also covers places related to writers from other eras who lived, studied and wrote in Alcalá.

"Caminos de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Letras" is a journey through four itineraries that have marked the history of Alcalá.

"Alcalá Monumental" covers the most emblematic places such as the University and the Cervantes Birthplace Museum, among other outstanding buildings.

With "Discover Alcalá", you will get to know the most representative places in a very complete visit through the exteriors and interiors of the main buildings.

If you want more, get more information at the Tourist Office of Alcalá de Henares, as they offer seasonal tours such as the dramatized visits of Las Noches de Don Juan around All Saints' Day.
